मच्छर

सारा जंगल साँय-साँय कर रहा था । सभी जीव- जन्तु ,पशु-पक्षी गहरी नींद में सो रहे थे ।

जंगल के राजा शेर को बुरा सपना आया , और सपने के कारण वह दहाड़ने लगा।

सभी जीव- जन्तु ,पशु-पक्षियों की नींद खुल गयी ,,एक मच्छर था ,उसकी भी नींद खुल गयी ।
नींद खुलने की वजह से वह रोष में भर गया तथा शेर की नाक पर बैठ कर डंक गढ़ा दिया ।
शेर बोला – “मच्छर भाई , मैं तुझसे हार मान गया । अब तू जा ।”

अब तो मच्छर भाई सारे जंगल में भुनभुन करके हाँकने लगा कि शेर मुझसे हार गया है , इस जंगल में सबसे अधिक ताकतवर मैं हूं । अब जंगल का राजा भी मैं हूँ !

वह जब अपने ठिकाने की ओर आया , तो उसका सिर चकरा रहा था ।
मकड़ी ने जाला बुन रखा था , मच्छरभाई मकड़ी के जाले में फँस गया !

माहौल में ढल गयी

“शहर के एक बडे घराने की बेटी थी ,
किन्तु शादी किसी गांव में हो गयी !

गोबर, खाद, मिट्टी ,धूल,कूडा-करकट !
हर समय बदबू के कारण नाक सिकोडती रहती थी ।
साल दर साल बीतते चले गये ।

शहर से एक परिवारी-जन मिलने को आया तो सुनाने लगी कि –
“जब मैं यहां आई थी, तब यह गांव इतना गन्दा था कि पूछो मत !
सांस लेना भी दूभर था ! अब तो बहुत स्वच्छ और निर्मल हो गया है !”

असली बात यह थी कि गांव तो वैसे का वैसा ही था किन्तु बहू की नाक अब उस माहौल में ढल गयी थी ।

Mosquito

The whole forest was rustling. All animals and birds – were in deep sleep.

Lion, the king of the forest had a bad dream, and due to the dream he roared.

All the animals and birds woke up from the noise.

There was a mosquito, he woke up too.
Due to the disturbance in his sleep, he was filled with rage and bites on the nose of the lion.
The Lion said – “Mosquito brother ! I give up. Now you please go.”

Now the mosquito roamed all over the forest and started laughing that the lion gave up on me and I am the most powerful in this forest. Now I am the king of the jungle too!

When he came to his hideout, his head was spinning.

The Spider had weaved the net and Mosquito-brother got stuck in the spider web

Accustomed to Atmosphere

There was a girl who was the daughter of a big family in the city,
but got married to a man who lived in a village!

Dung, manure, soil, dust, garbage was all around !
Her nose used to shrink all the time due to the smell.

Years went by.

When a family member came to meet her from the city, she started to tell that –
“When I came here, this village was so dirty and used to smell so much
that even breathing was difficult here ! Now it is very clean and serene! “

But, actually the reality was that the village was same, like before, but the daughter-in-law’s nose was now accustomed to Atmosphere .
